EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a scientifically validated integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma and disturbing life events. The goal is to achieve the most profound change in the shortest period of time.
I trained in EMDR with Dr. Francine Shapiro, who created the model. I have extensive experience providing EMDR treatment and helping clients to alleviate a variety of mental and physical symptoms, to improve the view of themselves, and to eliminate or decrease distress from disturbing memories.
I am a certified therapist and a full member of the EMDR International association, which is a professional association where EMDR practitioners and researchers seek the highest standards for the clinical use of this method of therapy.
